College Street Coffee House is a renowned meeting place (adda) for intellectuals (mostly of Presidency College, Calcutta and Calcutta University). It has played an important part in Calcutta's (Kolkata) cultural history. The service men (bearers) here can still be seen in their old style costumes. It is 50 years old, standing proudly at the college street road. it is the most favorite place of college students as well as many renowned people. It has recently been renovated.
