Donald Paul Black (July 20, 1916 – April 21, 1959) born in Salix, Iowa was a professional baseball player who played pitcher in the Major Leagues from 1943-1948. He was a pitcher for the Philadelphia Athletics (1943-45) and Cleveland Indians (1946-48).

He helped the Indians win the 1948 World Series.

In 6 seasons he had a 34-55 Win-Loss record, 154 Games (113 Started), 37 Complete Games, 4 Shutouts, 21 Games Finished, 1 Save, 797 Innings Pitched, 803 Hits Allowed, 425 Runs Allowed, 385 Earned Runs Allowed, 46 Home Runs Allowed, 400 Walks Allowed, 293 Strikeouts, 13 Hit Batsmen, 13 Wild Pitches, 3,519 Batters Faced, a 4.35 ERA and a 1.509 WHIP.

He died in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio at the age of 42.
