Romblon (island)

Romblon is one of the three major islands of the Romblon Province in the Philippines; the other two are Sibuyan Island and Tablas Island. It is the site of the provincial capital, also named Romblon. The island is famous for its marble.

The province of Romblon is situated practically at the center of the Philippine archipelago.

The Romblon Group is composed of 50 islands including 108 islets that comprise the Archipelagic province of Romblon. Of which, 26 of these are named and the remaining 132 are unnamed for a total of 158 islands and islets. Data is based on Philippine Coast and Geodetic Survey records of 1975 and Philippine Almanac of 1986.
