The Russian Football Union (RFU) (Russian: Российский Футбольный Союз) is the governing body of football in Russia. It organizes the football league, Premier-Liga, and the Russian national football team. It is based in Moscow. From 1917 to 1992, Russian football was governed by the "Football Federation of USSR".
