October 28 ,1846 ) was a U.S. Representative fromNew York , cousin ofNehemiah Hezekiah Earll .Born in 1786, Earll Resided in
Onondaga County, New York , and attended the common schools. Sheriff of Onondaga County 1815-1819.He served as member of the State assembly in 1820 and 1821.He served in the State senate from January 1823 to January 1827.Earll was elected to the Twentieth Congress and reelected as a Jacksonian to the Twenty-first Congress (
March 4 ,1827 -March 3 ,1831 ).He served as chairman of the Committee on Expenditures in the Department of State (Twenty-first Congress).Earll was elected a canal commissioner and served from January 1832 to February 1840. Postmaster of
Syracuse, New York , fromJune 26 ,1840 , untilMarch 10 ,1842 .Earll was again elected a canal commissioner and served from
February 8 ,1842 , until his death inSyracuse, New York ,October 28 ,1846 .He was interred in Walnut Grove Cemetery,Onondaga Hill, New York .References
