Ljósufjöll is fissure vent system and central volcano on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula in Iceland. The system contains youthful-looking cinder cones and is the only system on the peninsula that has erupted in recorded history. The eruption, in the tenth century, is described in the Landnámabók.

Its name derives from the mountain range of the area and translates to English as "Light Mountains". The system is the largest Quaternary rhyolitic outcrop in the Snæfellsnes volcanic zone. The Ljósufjöll peaks are highly silicic giving the light colouration from which the name derives.
