Desh TV is the latest addition to the long list of community TV channels in the UK/EU.

The channel has started test transmission from the Telstar 10 satellite. During April 2011, Desh TV began testing on Eurobird 1,[1] ahead of a launch on the Sky platform in the United Kingdom and Ireland on April 26, 2011.[2] Desh TV started its regular broadcast in UK on 1 July 2011.
