RBS 70 missiles, with the system being marketed with the modernized version, calledBOLIDE .The ASRAD-R system has been developed by the German Rheinmetall Defence Electronics, in conjunction with Saab Bofors Dynamics (basing the technology on the Saab Bofors Bolide Missile and the Ericsson Microwave Systems HARD 3D search radar.
Finland placed the first order in August 2002. The Finnish systems are mounted on
Sisu Nasu s (4 units) and Mercedes-BenzUnimog 5000 L/38 4x4s (12 units). Each battery also has four RBS 70 MANPADS launchers with Bolide missiles.pecifications
