"Mellotron Archives", otherwise known as
Mike Pinder 's Mellotron is a sample CD released by the company of the same name, available inAkai S1000 format. The CD is intended to emulate theMellotron andChamberlin musical instrument s with as much accuracy as possible. To this end, it contains a full eight second sample of each note in everytape bank present.It features samples of the following tape banks:
