- Jan Grzebski
Jan Grzebski (born in 1942) is a former Polish railroad worker who fell into a
coma after he was hit by a train in 1988. 19 years later, in 2007, Grzebski woke up from the coma. Doctors had not expected Grzebski to survive, let alone emerge from the coma. He credits his survival to his wife, Gertruda Grzebska, who cared and prayed for him. Grzebski was a father of four at the time of the accident. He now plans to meet his 11 grandchildren.
