James Landale

James Landale

James Landale is a BBC journalist who is the current Chief Political Correspondent for BBC News. [ [http://www.canongate.net/James-Landale James Landale - Canongate Home ] ] He covers political stories for the channel throughout the week, as well as leading its PMQs coverage on Wednesdays. He has also presented some relief shifts on the channel. Before this appointment he spent ten years working for The Times. Whilst studying Politics at the University of Bristol Landale became the first editor of Epigram, Bristol University's independent student newspaper. He lives in London.

Landale is an Old Etonian [ [http://www.epigram.org.uk/view.php?id=1434 Epigram Online ] ] and was a contemporary at that school of Conservative politicians Boris Johnson and David Cameron.
