- Kudurru of Melishihu
The Kudurru of Melishihu is a grey limestone 0.7-meter tall boundary stone (
kudurru ) from ancientBabylonia , which is now housed at theLouvre .The obverse is composed of five iconographic registers, with representations of gods, humans and animals. Notable is probably the
snake in Register V.The reverse is a semicircular surface–in–the–round with three columns of cuneiform text.
