discovery_status = Published HD 125612 b is a superjovian planet. It has a mass 3.5 Jupiters and takes 1.37 year to orbit HD 125612.

The semi-major axis is 1.2 AU from the star, meaning the planet orbits from the star than Earth to the Sun. However, the planet is eccentric Jupiter, meaning the Jupiter-like planets orbit in eccentric path. At periastron, the distance is about the same as Venus (0.734 AU) from the star and at apastron, the distance is further than that of Mars (1.668 AU).
