- Solvent de-asphalter
A solvent de-asphalter is a unit in a crude

The output from thede-asphalter unit isde-asphalted oil , DAO andasphalt . If thesolvent isbutane the unit will be referred to as abutane de-asphalter , BDA and if the solvent ispropane , it will be called apropane de-asphalter , PDA unit.References
