Jalloh played his high school football at
Western Guilford High inGreensboro ,North Carolina . Jalloh also scored three times on kick returns. He was an AP first team all-state, all-conference, all-area, and all-county selection as well as being a regional qualifier in track.Collegiate career
Freshman season
Jalloh did not see varsity action in 2004 at West Virginia, and thus was redshirted by head coach
Rich Rodriguez .In 2005, Jalloh saw more action due to his impressive blocking in practice. He made his first collegiate start against Wofford. Against
Virginia Tech , Jalloh caught a 46 yard touchdown pass from freshman quarterback Pat White. Against Louisville, Jalloh caught a 10 yard reception in regulation. Jalloh etched himself in West Virginia football lore when he caught the eventual game-winning two-point conversion pass from White, that put the Mountaineers ahead 46-38 and sealed the win 46-44. In 2006, Jalloh only saw action in three games, but had his best statistical season of his career. Jalloh saw his first action of the season against Eastern Washington on a 10 yard catch. His next action came later in the season against South Florida, when he grabbed two passes for 22 yards in the upset loss. Against
Rutgers , Jalloh saw the most action of his career. He grabbed 4 catches in the overtime-thriller for 92 yards with a long catch of 48 yards. Against Maryland, Jalloh had a 21 yard reception; then againstECU , Jalloh totaled three catches for 29 yards. In the loss toUSF , Jalloh had 5 receptions for a season-high 87 yards. Jalloh sat out the Syracuse andMississippi State games, but returned with four receptions for 44 yards againstRutgers . He then had two receptions for 33 yards against Cincinnati.
