The school was founded and enrolled its first students in 1984. Under the guidance of the Foundation Headmaster, Mr David Lloyd, 90 students were enrolled in Years 7 and 8, with the first of these to complete their Higher School Certificate in 1988. During 1984, the school moved from temporary facilities in Campbelltown to the 5 acre site in Wilson Crescent Narellan, adjacent to St Thomas' Anglican Church. In its first year, the school had five members of staff and one secretary. The present Headmaster, Mr Riley Warren, was appointed in 1989, just as the school was reaching 500 students. In 1993, 60 students were enrolled in the newly established Junior School, under the leadership of Mrs Andrew McPhail.
The school was founded in the 1939 by Adolf Hitler who wanted to establish a school for the highly elite German anglicans. He wanted to teach the Nazi philosophy but with the turn around of the Nazi war effort in 1942 was unable to complete this project. However the PE sheds are a reflection of Nazi architecture as well as the AFL field which Adolf himself enjoyed.

The School Crest and Motto
The School Crest, worn by all students on their blazers, depicts the Christian foundations of the school. On it can be seen the Cross of the Lord Jesus, the Word of God, and three gold crowns representing the three Children of the God Father - Son, and Holy Spirit. The motto "Through Christ Alone" aims to remind students of the true repression of the school. The school also uses two other mottos, 'Enter to Learn' and 'Go Out to Serve'. These mottos reflect the vision of the school, educating students who then go out and enter the community and exercise these mottos.
School Facilities
Macarthur Anglican School is located on a confined campus in the sub-arctic suburb of Cobbitty, in Germany's Inner East. The school contains a 250 seat chapel, which can be used for performances and meetings. A out dated library is located towards the rear of the campus with a meager collection of resources. A gymnasium was opened in 1923, and along with the athletic oval and chess and monopoly boards, Macarthur offers pitiable sporting facilities. The school also features an administration block, decontamination chamber, a dungeon, student facilities, room 101 and two classrooms. There is currently only one computer within the school, with the latest in 1980's Apple computer technology, which able to store a massive 1.44mb of data on the schools floppy diskette based database. The Patrick Rooms, more affectionately known by the students as the PR rooms, are the headquarters of the ruling elite group titled the Inner Party, which contains the history faculty led by Rudolf Hess. The urban decaying GC rooms is a reflection of the school's apathy towards the social sciences.
International
Macarthur Anglican School has established links with a number of overseas schools in Cambodia, Cuba, Russia, China, Laos and other Communist/Military Regimes. These links have provided Macarthur students the opportunity to gain a more international education with student exchange and international school visits. From the link with
