The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Douala is the Metropolitan See for the Ecclesiastical province of Douala in Cameroon. The current archbishop is Archbishop Samuel Kleda, he had previously been the coadjutor archbishop to the Archbishop Emeritus, Cardinal Christian Wiyghan Tumi. There is a chance that Archbishop Kleda will be named a Cardinal in the next consistory expected in 2010, as Cardinal Tumi will turn 80 in October 2010 and thus will lose his right to vote in a papal conclave.
