*February 5 1941 Opened as Nihon Hume Tube Mae Stop.
*April 9 1943 The stop was raised to a station.
*April 1 1944 Along with nationalization of Nambu Railway, the station became Tsudayama Station of JNR Nambu Line.
*March 5 1972 Discontinued handling freight service.
*April 1 1987 Along with privatization and division of JNR, East Japan Railway Company started operating the station.
