Parkwood School International

Parkwood School International is a co-educational residential school located about 60 km from Hyderabad. Founded in 2003, Parkwood provides a complete and contemporary educational experience for today’s child.

The school offers CBSE, University of Cambridge IGCSE and A Levels in a comprehensive learning environment, with personal freedom and a wide range of non-academic activities. It combines a broad curriculum with a full program outside the classroom and the efficiency of current technology.

Vision

Parkwood School International is located in a picturesque 32 acre campus and is a completely residential, co-educational school. It has been envisioned with an aim to provide a holistic and progressive educational experience. In order to provide the best of both worlds, our foremost objective is to create a secure and highly supportive environment for each of our students, thus establishing a closeknit family.

PSI is a melting pot of diverse cultures and nationalities. Further, in keeping with the contemporary perspective of 'inclusive education', we strive to help every child succeed and achieve his/her best, and shape his/her academic, personal and social progress.

The Parkwood System

The Parkwood System is in line with the vision and philosophy of the school. We set very high standards for ourselves and undertake periodic reviews to assess our performance. Goal setting and adapting to change are an integral part of our functioning.

There is a concerted effort to establish a fit between the teaching styles and methodology and the learning patterns of our students. Great care is taken to ensure that personalized and customized action plans are drawn up to accommodate those with special requirements. Parents receive a comprehensive report that includes a qualitative assessment of all those aspects outside the scope of the classroom.

The vision and philosophy of the school management is to provide a fair opportunity to students who excel in academics and/or sports. In this direction, the school extends Scholarships and Financial Aid to parents whose wards can prove their excellence and/or the need for these grants. Although these grants are liberally available to the meritorious or deserving cases, there is an overall budget within which the system functions. The School appointed committee is the final and binding authority in deciding upon the extent to which these grants can be disbursed to the applicants.

Each year, the school conducts a scholarship examination by inviting applications for such grants. This invitation is open for children seeking entry to Grades 4 to 11 (excluding 10). The scholarships are granted in the slabs of 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% of the Annual School Fee based purely on merit, subject to a maximum of Rs.160,000 per student per annum.
