Daniel Saynt is the founder of Fashion Indie. In 2005 Saynt, with partner Busie Matsiko launched FashionIndie.com a site dedicated to reporting on the best in emerging fashion. Saynt has built a career around discovering and reporting on the most promising young designers. FashionIndie.com offers an independent view on fashion design that is read by over 100,000 "Indies" each month and has been syndicated on sites such as Glam.com, Elle.com , FashionTribes.com and Papierdoll.net. Daniel Saynt was also an New York City Style corespondent for mobile fashion network, 80108. Saynt has been a regular panel contributor at fashion schools such as Berkeley College and FIT, as well as the Fort Greene Fashion Association. He is currently Managing Editor at brand equity site Trendible.com.

The connecting force behind some of New York's most fashionable events, Saynt has produced nearly 100 events since Fashion Indie's inception.

History of Fashion Indie

Saynt started FashionIndie.com with partners Busie Matsiko, quickly built the site to be the most successful site for emerging designers on the web.

"Mission"To be the voice of indie fashion and find the very best in emerging design.

"Vision"FashionIndie.com is aimed towards emerging fashion and the people who love it. The site is a mix of needed services, advice and information on sales and events in the virgin fashion field. Focussed on New York City, it has established a foothold in the “Fashion Capital of the World”. Fashion Indie will be the ultimate source for indie fashion news, sales, and events, with a magazine, television show, and a fashion week all launching in the near future.

"Background"Established in the Summer of 2005, Fashion Indie introduces fashion forward individuals to unique, up & coming fashion designers. Fashion Indie represents designers and boutiques who bring something new and exciting to the fashion world.
