Shakespeare and Renaissance Literature in Performance.

Shakespeare and Renaissance Literature in Performance.

A post-graduate program unique to Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, Virginia, the Master of Letters/Master of Fine Arts in Shakespeare and Renaissance Literature in Performance (MLitt/MFA) combines stagecraft and scholarship with concentrations in acting, directing, teaching, and dramaturgy. The degrees employ the Blackfriars Playhouse, the only recreation of Shakespeare's indoor theatre, and are offered through partnership with the American Shakespeare Center.

Dame Judi Dench was present as an honored guest at the program's first graduation ceremony.
