Reactive decision making

Reactive decision making

Reactive decision making is when the decider opts for a course of action by reacting to the choices made by other stakeholders in the problem. This approach is rather common in everyday human decision making. Deciding reactively may at times give the impression of being a rational act in a given set of circumstances, but beware: simply reacting to the actions of others can easily expose the decider to unforeseen risks. Strategically, it is neither a rational nor advisable approach.
