Shaun Benjamin MacDonald (born 17 June 1988 in Swansea) is a Welsh professional footballer who currently plays for Swansea City.

Club career

Shaun made his way up through the youth ranks before making his first-team debut against Gillingham midway through the 2005–06 season as a 17-year-old.

He has played in 19 competitive League One, FA Cup and League Cup matches, both starting and as a substitute, as well as starting two FAW Premier Cup ties during the 2005–06 season.

He scored his first goals for the club against Brentford in the Carling Cup on 12 June, 2008.

International career

Shaun is also a current Wales Under-21 international and he has also represented his country at Youth level.
