The New York Yankees' 1967 season was the 65th season for the Yankees. The team finished ahead of only the Kansas City Athletics in the American League final standings, with a record of 72-90, finishing 20 games behind of the Boston Red Sox. New York was managed by Ralph Houk. The Yankees played at Yankee Stadium.

* July 4, 1967: Steve Barber was traded by the Baltimore Orioles to the New York Yankees for players to be named later, Ray Barker, and cash. The New York Yankees sent Chet Trail (minors) (December 15, 1967) and Joe Brady (minors) (December 15, 1967) to the Baltimore Orioles to complete the trade.
