Gleison Pinto dos Santos (born 18 August, 1981 in Vitória) is a Brazilian football player.
He currently plays for Reggina in Serie A.

Football career

Brazil

Gleison started his career at Comercial de Ribeirão Preto of Brazilian Serie B.

Italy

On 23 August, 2002, Gleison joined Atalanta of Serie A on loan. He was the unused member of the team, and later signed permanent deal on summer 2003. He made 6 appearances for Atalanta, but this time at Serie B.

He than loaned to A.C. Monza Brianza 1912, of Serie C2. While made 10 appearances, and one more at promotion play-offs. He than earned a new contract that Monza bought half of the rights from Atalanta.

He played 36 appearances in Serie C1, and 4 more on promotion play-offs.

On 20 June, 2006, Monza finally got the full ownership of Gleison, but then sold Gleison's half of the registration rights to U.C. AlbinoLeffe on 31 August, 2006.

On summer 2007, Monza agreed to sell remain half to AlbinoLeffe, but in August 2007, Genoa bought half of the rights from AlbinoLeffe.

*In 2008 he signed with Reggina.
