Turtleford is a town in the rural municipality of Mervin No. 499, in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. Turtleford is located on Highway 26 near the intersection / concurrency with Highway 3 and Highway 303. North Battleford and Turtleford branch line is serviced by the C.N.R. The early crossing (or ford) of Turtle River was near the present town location. [CitationA popular past time in Turtle ford is the Saturday Night Dart League. The 2008 Champion on the North Turtleford Dart League is William (Bill) J. Squires.
