Frederick Bancroft Willis was the Republican Speaker of the Massachusetts House of Representatives from 1944-1948. He also served as a delegate to Republican National Convention from Massachusetts in 1940 and 1948. The Frederick B. Willis Fishing Pier in Lynn, Massachusetts is dedicated to him. He retired from politics in 1948 and was replaced in the House of Representatives by Belden Bly.
