Glen Marhevka (trumpeter)

Glen Marhevka is a trumpet player for the swing band Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.

Marhevka is known as The Kid and has played trumpet for Big Bad Voodoo Daddy since 1995. Big Bad Voodoo Daddy is known for leading the neo-swing revival of the late 1990'sFact|date=June 2007. Big Bad Voodoo Daddy's first album went platinum, selling over one million copies, and remained in the Billboard top 100 for over a year. Glen has appeared in the movie Swingers with Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, as well as numerous television performances ranging from the Super Bowl halftime show, to the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. His trumpet playing has been heard on hundreds of movie trailers, television shows, and soundtracks over the years. Glen graduated from Hart high school in 1989. He is also a graduate of California State University Northridge having received a Bachelors Degree in Music.
