Phosphoribosylaminoimidazole carboxylase (or AIR carboxylase) is an enzyme involved in nucleotide synthesis.

It catalyzes the conversion of 5'-phosphoribosyl-5-aminoimidazole ("AIR") into 5-phosphoribosyl-4-carboxy-5-aminoimidazole ("CAIR").
