About
Artmania is a festival held each year since summer 2006 in
Sibiu ,Romania .The festival constitutes mostly of rock and metal bands, invited to sing in Sibiu's Large Square. In addition to live performances, Artmania Festival features other interesting events such as visual art exhibitions, film screenings, classical music performances, lectures and workshops.

In summer of 2006, the festival lined up several of the best musical acts from Finland and Romania.Bands like HIM (were headliners as well),
Amorphis ,SILENTIVM ,Carmen Gray joined by Romanian bands Luna Amara, Kumm played in the Large Square.2007
ARTmania Festival 2007 is a cultural project financed by the Program Sibiu the Capital of Culture 2007. .
After the success from 2006, ARTmania Festival brings in 2007, to Sibiu, a famous edition, which honors the name of European capital of culture assigned to the city hosting this event. Having a length of 3 days, in the Big Square of Sibiu, during the period June 15 -17, ARTmania Festival will propose a meeting with bands having made history in the rock music. Besides, the festival will offer a rich program, and the variety of manifestations and the unique atmosphere of the European capital will define concerts, exhibitions, conferences and book releases. During the period June 15- 17, the historical center of Sibiu will hosts experiences to captivate the public present there. Tickets for the ARTmania festival organized by ARTMANIA foundation during the period June 15-17 in Sibiu will be available for purchase as of April.
Tickets made available for sale will have special prices until June 1. Thus, for Friday, June 15, the price will be RON 85 and for Saturday, June 16, RON 75. Besides, tickets will be available for the entire festival at the price of RON 120. They can be bought in Diverta network, at Muzica store as well as on the site www.Bilete.ro.
During the next period, organizers will also give details on the camping in Sibiu. Besides the already announced bands,:
My Dying Bride ,The Gathering ,Anathema ,Haggard and Tarot, at ARTmania festival 2007 there will also be concerts on the stage in the big Square, held by another 2 internationally known bands will be on at the festival.
