International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS) is an academic examination run by the University of New South Wales through Educational Assessment Australia. It provides exams for students in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Brunei, Malaysia [ICAS in Malaysia - http://www.eats.com.my] , South Africa, Indonesia, Hong Kong, India and the Pacific region. Prior to 2006 ICAS-Mathematics was called "Australasian Schools Mathematics Assessment" from 2003 to 2005. Prior to 2003 it was known as the "Primary Schools Mathematics Competition" and was targeted at primary schools. Awards
All entries in the ICAS competitions receive some award or certificate, online access to their results/profile and a results paper. The top 1% of each competition earn a High Distinction.
