"Wimzie's House" was a Canadian produced children's television program which ran on YTV from 1995 to 1996 and in the United States on PBS from October 1, 1997 to August 31, 2001 [cite web|url=http://www.wimzie.com/|title=Wimizie's House TV Show|accessdate=2007-05-26|publisher=TV.com] . The show has also aired at least as early as 1995 and through the late-1990s on CBC Television, and on Radio-Canada (as "La Maison de Ouimzie"). The series was produced by Cinar (now Cookie Jar Entertainment), with the PBS telecasts presented by Maryland Public Television.

The story centered around a dragon girl, Wimzie, a five year old, whose family had bat-wings on their head. Her father Rousso was a firefighter and her mother Graziella was an airplane pilot. During the day, her grandma Yaya ran a daycare center at their house. She watched Wimzie, her rambunctious brother Bo, and their friends Horace, a very curious boy who loves to eat and draw; Jonas, who is very scientific; and his sweet, and naive sister Loulou. They'd play and have various adventures, often times learning life lessons about sharing, friendship, safety, and more.

Wimzie-a five year old girl, who loves seeing her friends when they come to play. She is very sweet, and a bit "zany". She loves to take risks, and would like to follow in her mother's footsteps someday. She is the leader of her friends, and can sometimes be a bit bossy.

Bo-Wimzie's baby brother, who is very rambunctious. No matter what trouble he gets into, Wimzie still loves him.

Rousso-Wimzie's dad, who is a fireman and loves fishing and gardening, also very spicy food.

Graziella-Wimzie's mom, who is a dedicated airplane pilot.

Yaya- Wimzie's grandmother, who is also the daycare supervisor. She loves playing with the kids and making sure that they are happy. She does tai chi, and used to play guitar. Although she is old, she still has a great memory, and can show the past or future using her dream bubble. She is also a very good storyteller.

Jonas-A very scientific boy, usually seen with a propellor hat on his head. He wants to become an inventor or a scientific detective (which happens to be his favorite game at daycare). He always follows the rules, and gets frustrated if others don't. His favorite game is Hide and Seek because: "It's scientific!"

Loulou- Jonas' sweet, and naive, four year old sister, who is Wimzie's best friend. She loves to play dress up, and is sometimes shown carrying her "fuzzy", the last little bit of her blanket.

Horace- A curious boy that loves playing checkers, eating, and is artistic. Although he loves playing pranks, he has a sweet, and gentle heart. He adores Wimzie's brother, Bo, and loves to play with him.
