Vizsoly is a village in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county, Hungary.

ightseeings

The old reformed church is the important heritage of the village from the medieval ages. This church was also the site of the edition of the famous Karoli Gaspar Bible.

The church has been built in the ma 13th century. Later it was enlarged in the 14th century and murals were painted of which one shows the widely distributed epics of Saint Ladislaus legend. Today we know about 50 churches in the medieval Hungary where this legend has been painted. The epics of the mural tolds the battle of Lerlés, where Ladislaus I of Hungary liberates a lady from a cumanian warrior.
