CIBER, Inc. (NYSE: CBR) is a global information technology consulting, services and outsourcing company applying practical innovation through services and solutions that deliver tangible results for both commercial and government clients. Services include application development and management, ERP implementation, change management, project management, systems integration, infrastructure management and end-user computing, as well as strategic business and technology consulting.

History

The company was founded in Detroit, Michigan, in 1974 by Bobby Stevenson and two additional partners to primarily serve the information systems needs of the burgeoning auto industry. They called the company Consultants in Business Engineering Research (CIBER). In 1978, Stevenson became full owner of the company and still today is on the board of directors. CIBER is headquartered in Greenwood Village, Colorado and has 8,000+ employees in 18 countries. The company is transforming into a practice focused professional services and outsourcing firm.
