The Intelligent Design Network (IDnet) is a nonprofit organization formed in Kansas to promote intelligent design. It is based in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. The Intelligent Design Network was founded by John Calvert, a corporate finance lawyer with a bachelor's degree in geology and nutritionist William S. Harris. Together, Calvert and Harris have published the article "Intelligent Design: The Scientific Alternative to Evolution" in the National Catholic Bioethics Quarterly. There are also branches of the Intelligent Design Network in Ohio and New Mexico. The Ohio branch of the Intelligent Design Network is headed by Roddy Bullock, a lawyer with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. The New Mexico branch of the Intelligent Design Network is lead by Joseph D. Renick, a retired air force pilot with a masters in mechanical engineering and a bachelors degree in aeronautical engineering. Most of Renick's current career involves the testing of weapons systems.
