Svrake is small village, which is part of
Vogošća municipality in Bosnia. The population numbers to some 3000. Those are mainlyMuslim s today, estimated to be about 95%. This figure before 1992 was about 85%, while between 1992 and 1996 there was just a few Muslims, probably less then 1%. After reintegration of Svrake in April 2006, afterDayton Peace Agreement , Orthodox Serb population had left Svrake and almost none had returned. Svrake had suffered great atrocities and crimes during early stages of war in 1992 and thereafter, which was a stumbling stone leading to today's smaller presence of serbian population.Population
