Sahakarita marg

Sahakarita Marg is the main road passing through Mayur Vihar Phase I Extension. "Sahakarita" means cooperative in Hindi and the road owes its name to the numerous cooperative housing societies located on the road. Prominent among them are Samachar Apartments, Aashiana Apartments, Rosewood Apartments, Dronacharya Apartments, Medha Apartments and OCS Apartments.

Some of the prominent schools of East Delhi are also located on this road such as ASN School, Amity International and Queen Mary's School.
