HelpOnDemand is a Canadian operated forum that provides help in numerous topics at one time. HelpOnDemand is not considered a company, but more like a solution to others who cannot find what they are looking for over the Internet. HelpOnDemand also provides free live confidential chat. On June 1st 2007, the team at HelpOnDemand claimed they were making a website for the forum. On July 28th 2007, HelpOnDemand moved to a new message board, using Simple Machines Forum technology. On August 9th 2007, the HelpOnDemand team released the official website to the public after a long awaited 5 months. On July 24th, 2008, it had been revealed through the message board that the alternative help service would no longer be provided through chatrooms, instead HelpOnDemand is now using a program similar to those of instant messaging, also very similar to what Internet Service Providers use to help their customers. According to the website and message board the service is completely free.

"Specialist"

A "Specialist" is a classified member group on HelpOnDemand that is known for providing help for guests and users. It is the Specialist's job to provide help in their topic that they have signed up for. Anyone can sign up to be a Specialist, as long as you meet HelpOnDemand's specific needs.

"Categories"

People who sign up can get help in any categories. On the message board, categories rang from Art, Design & Culture to Other. People may wish to get help in health, education, entertainment, government,science, sports & recreation, computers & technology, business & economical, and finally, automotive & adventure.
