South Fork High School

South Fork High School (SFHS) is a public high school in Stuart, Florida, USA. It is part of the Martin County School District.

The school's mascot is the Bulldog and its colors are Red, Black, and White. South Fork is the only high school in the US to have a golf course on campus, which is primarily used to teach turf management. SF also has an on-campus farm, football stadium/track, tennis courts, and fields for baseball and softball.

South Fork High is the only high school in the Martin County School District with the International Baccalaureate (IB) program.

Clubs and organizations

South Fork has numerous clubs and organizations, including Spanish Club, French Club, National Honor Society (NHS), Key Club, Art Club, Cheerleading, drama, HOSA, Band, Dynamics Color Guard, SPAM Robotics Club, Army JROTC , Swimming, CEC, Spirit Club, and Yearbook Club.

Famous alumni

One famous alumnus is Alicia Minshew, who plays Kendall Hart on "All My Children". Another famous alumnus is Charles "Chuck" Emmanuel, nephew of the famed billionaire attorney Willie Gary. As a football player, Emmanuel was captain of the West Virginia University football team and previously played for the Philadelphia Eagles and the New Orleans Saints. Tony DiTerlizzi, co-author of "The Spiderwick Chronicles" series, also attended South Fork. A famous sports player who attended South Fork was Cleveland Gary (Class of 1984), who was a running back for the 1988 national champion Miami Hurricanes and Los Angeles Rams as well as The Miami Dolphins. Geoffrey Goforth, the United States Coast Guardsman graduated South Fork in 2002. The role played by Ashton Kutcher in The Guardian (2006 film) was based on a combination of a similar Japanese film and Geoffrey's early career.
