Sara Griffiths (born 12 July 1968) is an English actress who has appeared in many British television series including The Chief, Gentlemen & Players, Ruth Rendell Movies, Van der Valk, Emmerdale (as Isla Forsythe), Holby City, The Bill, Doctor Who (in the serial Delta and the Bannermen)[1] and Doctors. In 2006 she appeared in the Big Finish Doctor Who play I.D, alongside 6th Doctor Colin Baker. She appeared in the West End in Inspector Calls playing Sheila Birling at the Garrick Theatre, spent a year at the Royal National Theatre & has done numerous productions on tour, abroad and in the UK. She also worked with Steven Berkoff on Coriolanus in the UK, Japan & Jerusalem
She works as an actor, having recently done a new play by Stephen Brown, due to revised next year—playing a therapist to sex offenders—called "Future Me". She has done radio plays for BBC Radio 4 radio—e.g. The Decameron by Boccaccio and Alfie with Nick Moran. She also works as a freelance presenter and extensively on both radio and television as a voice over artist. Since 2006, she has worked as a presenter on QVC in the UK.
