Benkovski Nunatak (en-'kov-ski 'nu-na-tak) is a rocky peak of elevation 450 m projecting from the ice cap of
Greenwich Island in the northeast extremity ofBreznik Heights . Situated 1 km west-southwest ofBogdan Ridge , and 600 m north ofParchevich Ridge . OverlookingGruev Cove to the east. Bulgarian topographic surveyTangra 2004/05 . The peak was named afterGeorgi Benkovski (1843-76), a leader of the 1876April Uprising forBulgaria n independence.External links
