Knob Noster High School is one of many schools across Missouri to take part in the MOVIP [http://dese.mo.gov/divimprove/curriculum/movip/ MoVip] ] program, which provides affordable, high-quality, standards-based supplemental and full-time online coursework for Missouri schools needing credit retrieval, advanced courses, curriculum enhancements and/or to resolve scheduling conflicts."

The Knob Noster Science Olympiad team has gone to the state competition multiple times, and a large majority of its members are also in the Academic Bowl, which has also done incredibly well, placing fourth in conference, with 3 MRVC All-Conference members. The first academic bowl contest was held
28 November ,2007 , at Lexington High School, Scores to Come. Varsity placed 3rd with a 1-2 record, losing to Lexington by five points, to Boonville by 15 points, and beat Carrolton by 145 points. Congragulations to the varsity team. Knob Noster Mini-TourneyThe Knob Noster High School placed fourth of seven teams at their own meet, First went to Oak Grove, Second went to Odessa, Third to Boonville, Fourth to Knob Noster, Fifth to Lexington, and Sixth to Pleasant Hill.The team got third in Conference and District.tudent Council
The Knob Noster Student Council once again won the Honor Council award for the state of Missouri. "The Missouri Association of Student Councils awards schools for outstanding performance as a Council. Applications for The Honor Council Award are submitted to MASC. The award is criteria based. If a school meets all of the prescribed criteria, that school receives the award. This award has been established to honor student councils that have a comprehensive program promoting student activities and student leadership. AFJROTC is a four-year program designed to create better citizens for the nation and community. They also have Drill Team and Color Guard for the cadets to join, along with other activities.

- The Knob Noster Concert Band Received a 1 overall rating. The Band received a 1-,1,1 and a 1- in Sight Reading. The Knob Noster Honor Choir received a 2 overall rating. The choir received a 3,2,2, and a 2 in Sight Reading. In State Contest - The combined efforts/scores of the Honor Choir, Band and Jazz Band won Knob Noster 1st place at the Heritage Festival in St. Louis, winning the biggest trophy the school has ever received. The, Gold, First Place, that the Honor Choir received is similar to that of a 1 Rating at state contest. The Jazz Band received a, Silver, First Place,This is similar to that of a 2 rating at state contest. The Concert Band received a Gold Second place, this is similar to that also of a 1 rating at state contest. The Band won a Adjuncator's Award, and received an invitation to the Festival of Gold, held in Boston, Massachusetts. Two Band members received a Maestro Award for their outstanding performance.
