Controversy
T-shirt Hell receives a large amount of hate mail due to the fact some users are offended by the T-shirts slogans . Some of this mail is replied to in an insulting/satirical manner in the monthly newsletter available on the official website. This newsletter also contains satirical accounts of current world events.
The owner of T-Shirt Hell, Sunshine Megatron (formerly, Aaron Landau Schwarz [See http://www.givemeaname.com for details] ) was once purportedly poisoned by someone offended by his website. This poisoning scare resulted in the removal of the "Worse than Hell" section of the T-Shirt Hell website as this section contained the most controversial shirts. However, not long afterwards the section was put back up as Aaron Schwarz did not want to be victimized by people whom he thought should understand his shirts are supposed to be funny and not to be taken seriously.
