Dr. Bob Agee is the Executive Director for the
International Association of Baptist Colleges and Universities (IABCU), and served as the thirteenth president ofOklahoma Baptist University from1982 to1998 . Upon Agee's retirement as president of OBU,Mark Brister was elected to fill the position.Agee attended
Union University inJackson, Tennessee where he received hisBachelor of Arts degree. He went on to attendSouthern Baptist Theological Seminary inLouisville, Kentucky where he receivedMaster of Divinity andDoctor of Ministry degrees. Agee also holds aPh.D. in Higher Education Administration fromVanderbilt University 's George Peabody College for Teachers inNashville, Tennessee and an Honorary Doctor of Divinity degree fromCalifornia Baptist University .Prior to his service at OBU he served as Vice President for Religious Affairs, professor of practical studies in the religion department, and as Special Assistant to the President for Institutional Planning at
Union University inJackson, Tennessee .Agee is the author of numerous articles and is a frequent presenter at national and regional conferences on planning and fund-raising. He is a contributor and co-editor of the book "Faithful Learning and the Christian Scholarly Vocation", published by
