Route description

From the south, LA 1080 begins near the Bogue Falaya River. It heads northward to an intersection with LA 40 east of Folsom. LA 40 is the only other numbered highway LA 1080 meets. LA 1080 ends shortly thereafter near an intersection with Gracie Road. The actual road continues in a lesser state to a junction with LA 437 near the St. Tammany Parish/Washington Parish line.

LA 1080 is an undivided, two-lane roadway for its entire length.
