History

* 1922 Opened as Hirahata Station of Osaka Electric Rail's Unebi Line
* 1923 The Unebi Line was extended from Hirahata to Kashiharajingu-mae Station
* 1941 Became a station on Kansai Kyuko Electric Railway
* 1944 Became a station on Kintetsu
* 1973 Platforms for the Tenri Line was built, along with relocating the Southbound Kashihara Line
* 2007 PiTaPa became accepted
