The group's founder Joe Kaufman protested an award given by California Senator
Barbara Boxer to the Sacramento chapter of CAIR, causing the senator to rescind the award. Islamic Circle of North America , and calls for the inclusion of ICNA in the US State Department's list of organizations that support terrorists.
