China-U.S. strategic economic dialogue

The China-U.S. strategic economic dialogue had become important in the post-9/11 world for the two major world powers, the People's Republic of China and the United States, to discuss mutually related topics and many misunderstandings could be avoided. The format is such that top leaders of both countries would meet twice a year at locations alternating between China and the US.
