- Kadampara
Kadampara is a village situated on a river island in the
Cuttack district of the state ofOrissa ,India . The island is calledBayalish Mauza , meaning "Group of 42 Villages". Kadampara is one of the unique villages with facilities like a high school, a college (Sudarshan College ), a cold store which is the biggest in eastern India, and its ownyouth club . The village is surrounded by three other villages, Aitalanga, Beherampur and Zhinkiriya, and the river Kathjodi.Krishna , named as Lord Viswanath, is the village god. Like the rest of the 42 Villages, Kadampara celebrates its most enchanting festival of Dolyatra in mid-March in the time ofHoli .External links
