Vidyamoyee Govt. Girls' High School

Vidyamoyee Govt. Girls High School is the most renowned school for girls in Mymensingh because of its reputation and academic performance. It is located quite center of Mymensingh town in the opposite of City School.

Foundation

The school was founded by Jagatkishore Acharya Chowdhury, son of Bidyamayee Devi, as a gesture of love to a mother of a son. Other financial supports were come from zaminders of Muktagacha, Gouripur and Krishnanagar to establish the first girls school in Mymensingh.
